![]() ![]() She was also really caring on the way home from Flamingo Land. Anna and Aayus, you really do make Rossett a better place, largely through your relentless cheerfulness! She recently went on the music trip to Belgium and was just wonderful. She is an absolute delight, an amazing role model and has kept members of the form in line. He was just brilliant on the coach home from Flamingo Land too. I’d also like to nominate Anna Lambert for being the second ‘Mum’ in my form group throughout the year. It’s been an absolute pleasure to teach him and he’s always helpful in lessons, handing out books, glue sticks etc. Owen, thank you for being a Rossett Hero!Īayus and Anna were nominated by Ms Hawthorne who wrote, ‘ I’d like to nominate Aayus Rai for just being a complete ray of sunshine for the whole year. At Rossett we are one big team who look out for each other, and Owen did exactly that. Owen came into the classroom looking concerned and asking if she was okay, which she was. At one point, she accidently dropped a box which made a loud bang that could be heard on the corridor. Owen was nominated by Mrs McFarlane who this week has been very busy tidying her room and preparing to move to a new classroom. ![]() He’s a brilliant team player!’ Thank you Logan for your Rossett Hero behaviour this week. He was really calm and patient with other students and would happily explain the tasks to others when they didn't understand. Logan was nominated by Mrs Wood who wrote, ‘ Logan Robson was great on our off-timetable day yesterday. Well done Ted!’ Ted, we’re delighted you joined our school, you’re exactly what we want from our students! His calm but authoritative manner ensured others followed him. ![]() On the off-timetable day on Tuesday I was working with Ted all day and saw amazing leadership skills: he was thoughtful and considered, respectful of others and led by example. Mrs Dargie nominated Ted because, ‘ Ted joined Rossett this year and has made a great impression already. A very lovely moment from a very thoughtful and popular young man.’ It’s this sort of behaviour that makes Rossett such a special place. Evan spotted this, went over to the student, put his arm around his shoulder and discreetly encouraged him to continue to which the student responded and joined in with the group. One student in particular was in need of encouragement. We love getting student nominations and Cameron, you are definitely a Rossett Hero.Įvan was nominated by Mr Kilbride who wrote, ‘ Evan Barnett led a group activity with his class and made every effort to include everyone. Further to that he’s just a ray of sunshine.’ I teach Cameron and I can absolutely agree with everything written here. Well done Angharad, we love having students helping us as part of the team and you are clearly an awesome team player and a Rossett Hero.Ĭameron was nominated by one of his classmates who wrote, ‘ Cameron always greets people politely, keeps his head down and does his work to the best of his ability. ![]() Sports Leader Angharad was nominated by Mr Bulmer who said, ‘ she has been absolutely amazing on sports day, organising the students and the timings so that the day ran smoothly’.
